In Aktiv, it is easy to mark a question within an assignment correct for all students, mark alternative answers correct, or provide partial credit. If you need to only mark one student correct for one or more questions, this guide has a different way to access that function.
Navigate to the Aktiv login page and log in to your Account. Select 'Launch Web App' to open Aktiv Chemistry or Aktiv Mathematics.
Question List - Mark All Correct for a Question
Select the assignment you need to adjust the grading on, and you will be taken to the question list then click the three dots on the right side to reveal the Mark Correct and Report Error buttons for this question. Select Mark All Students Correct and all students, even those who have not answered or entered a wrong answer, will have full credit for this question.
(Optional) If you are adjusting the grade due to an issue with the question itself, please select the Report Error With Question button after marking students correct to report the error to our team. You can also email email@example.com for help.
Answer List - Partial and Full Credit for Other Answers
From the question list mentioned above, select the question you'd like to see. This will bring up the Histogram of common students answers. Click on the list icon next to a bar on the Histogram for the answer you are interested in, or select any and scroll up or down to the answer you wish to give credit on.
If you select the three dot button next to an incorrect answer, you can Mark Group Correct, giving all students who submitted this answer full credit, or Grant Group Partial Credit, giving partial points to all students who chose this answer. With partial credit, there will be options to adjust either the percentage of full credit with up and down arrows, or to enter the exact point value by typing it in the text field.
If you select the three dot button next to a student name instead, you can also mark just this one student correct or grant partial credit in a similar manner.
