Staggered Mode allows instructors to start and stop each problem in an In-Class Assignment one at a time.
1. From your Chrome or Firefox Browser, navigate to 101edu.co/login and login to your existing instructor account, and select Launch Web App.
2. Select "New Activity" then "In-Class" in order to create a new In-Class assignment.
3. In the Mode and Time Limit section under Mode, select Staggered.
4. Add the problems that you choose for your assignment.
5. Once you have finished adding problems and setting up the other assignment parameters, then you can select "Save for Class" to wait until class starts for the assignment to go live or "Start" to have the assignment go live immediately.
6. When the assignment is Active, click on the assignment to then see a list of the questions within the assignment.
7. From the student's perspective, they will see a statement letting them know that their instructor has not started any problems in the assignment yet.
8. You can now choose "Start All Problems" for all problems to become available to students at once or select "Start" next to the question that you want students to work on.
9. Another way to "Start" the question is through the histogram, Select the assignment, Select "Show Results", select the question, and then select "Start" or "End" for the question.
10. Once a problem is started, you can then choose "End all Problems" to close all questions or select "End" next to the question that you want to close to close a single question.
11. From the student's perspective, they will see the word "Closed" next to questions that were open and have now been closed.
