In Aktiv Chemistry, our Question Bank has the ability to filter by specific answer or problem types (e.g. Multiple Choice, Numeric Entry, Multi-Part Questions, Dimensional Analysis, Lewis Structures, etc.). This support article explains how to use this feature.
1. Sign in to your account via a Chrome or Firefox browser.
2. Access the question bank. There are two ways to do this depending on if you wish to make an assignment now or browse questions.
A) Navigate to the Question Bank by clicking on the word "Questions" in grey if you wish to browse.
B) If you are working on an assignment, at the top, click "add problem(s)" or "add problem pool."
3. Once in the Question Bank, you can then filter by specific answer types/problem types. First, click the drop-down options under Select Problem Types on the left side and select the type of question that you want to filter by, as seen below.
Problem types to select from: Multiple Choice, Numeric Entry, Multi-Part Questions, Dimensional Analysis, Inorganic Nomenclature, Chemical Equations, Lewis Structures, ICE Table/Equilibrium Expression, Organic Nomenclature, or AktivGrid.
If no questions are shown, then the category does not contain any questions for the selected filter type.
