In Aktiv Chemistry, our Question Bank has the ability to filter by course type or textbook. This support article explains how to use this feature.
1. Sign in to your account via a Chrome or Firefox browser.
2. Access the question bank. There are two ways to do this depending on if you wish to make an assignment now or browse questions.
A) Navigate to the Question Bank by clicking on the word "Questions" in grey if you wish to browse.
B) If you are working on an assignment, at the bottom click "add problem(s)" or "add problem pool."
3. Once in the Question Bank, you can then filter by course or textbook. First, click the drop-down options under Select Course on the left side and select the course or textbook that you want to filter by, as seen below.
4. Options selected in this way will show up as default for this course on next use of the question bank.
Courses available to select: All First-Year Courses, General Chemistry, General Chemistry - Atoms First, Introductory Chemistry, GOB Chemistry, Organic Prep, Organic Chemistry - Functional Group, Organic Chemistry - Mechanistic, or Survey of Organic Chemistry.
Textbooks available to select: OpenStax Chemistry 1e, OpenStax Chemistry 2e, OpenStax Chemistry Atoms First 1e, OpenStax Chemistry Atoms First 2e, Zumdahl - Chemical Principles - 8E, or Tro - Introductory Chemistry Essentials - 6E.
If no questions are shown, then the category does not contain any questions for the selected filter type.
