If the Aktiv platform color contrast is not sufficient for a user's vision, Color Contrast Mode changes the colors of several badges, banners, and icons in the app and on the site to meet the WCAG minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1.
1. Login to Aktiv Chemistry via https://aktiv.com/login and clicking Launch Aktiv Chemistry Web, or login via our iOS or Android app.
2. Navigate to the settings icon on the upper right side of your screen.
3. Locate the Color Contrast Mode slider on the top left of the screen above "Account Settings" and toggle the slider here.
As an example, the color contrast mode is shown below in student view to change the shade of green on the completed badge on an assignment to make the badge clearer.
The same can be seen below on the instructor view, where the badge for completed assignments will also have higher contrast in this mode.
